My current project, Now and Then, is a long-term narrative documentary project on the journey of belonging between traditional Chinese identity and American identity. The narrative divides into two parts following a thread weaving through memories and reality, in search of a sense of freedom. I navigate through these two daily lives to imply isolation, continuity, separation, overlap, and the complexities.
